WEEKLY CHECK-INS

I'll be touching base with you multiple times across the week to see how you're progressing. This will allow me to regularly update the plan, whether you've had a big spike in hurling training, or need to tweak things due to an injury or had a tough football game on Sunday. I'll take this all on board and tweak your plan as needed to ensure you keep progressing.

ONGOING PROGRESSIONS & MEASUREMENTS

Sometimes, what we planned initially isn't appropriate for the circumstances. Whether you have picked up an injury playing, or your training volume has drastically increased, your season ended early or you want to change your targets, we can account for your needs and adjust.


Each month your programming will progress, with movements becoming more advanced to ensure continued physical improvement.


Your progress will be measured to ensure your plan is delivering results. If for some reason you aren't progressing, I'll make adjustments to get you moving in the right direction.

NUTRIONAL & LIFESTYLE SUPPORT

I'll provide you with all the tools needed to live like an inter-county player.

This includes
mindset coaching from professionals, a full nutrition plan, mobility and injury prevention protocols, recovery guidance, plus a guide on how to structure your week and instil the right habits.

What you measure matters, but only if you're measuring the right things. I'll track various performance metrics at regular intervals so we can ensure you're moving towards your goals. This allows me to laser in on specific weaknesses and take your game to the next level.

I am a certified Strength and Conditioning coach, sports journalist, author, footballer and founder of Humans of Gaelic Games.


After spending over seven years as a GAA correspondent with The42, I transitioned to full-time coaching.


What began as a side hustle has now evolved into a thriving coaching business with over 200,000 followers across my social media channels. I offer personalised 1:1 online coaching for male and female Gaelic footballers and hurlers, and group coaching for a wide range of athletes.


With five years of experience in both in-person and online coaching, I have trained athletes in Ireland and Australia. I hold certifications in personal training and strength and conditioning.


I started my journey into S&C coaching out of a personal need to enhance my performance on the pitch. For years, I struggled to find the right approach in the gym that would translate to better athleticism on the field.


As I learned and applied the correct methods to become faster, fitter, and more powerful, I realized how much misinformation and lack of tailored guidance exists for GAA players striving to become better athletes.


Today, my coaching philosophy is built on a foundation of making athletes more explosive through meticulously designed speed, power, and strength training programs that I've refined over the years.
