MEET YOUR COACH
Hi, I’m Kevin,
I am a certified Strength and Conditioning coach and founder of Humans of Gaelic Games.
I worked as a GAA correspondent in the national media with The42 for seven years and in 2022 I wrote my first book ‘Dooley: A Family Memoir’ with the famous Offaly hurling family, before transitioning into full-time coaching.
I’ve been coaching for over five years and my business now has over 200,000 followers across our social media channels.
I also host the Humans of Gaelic podcast where I interview players and coaches on topics related to the human side of elite performance in the GAA.
As well as online coaching I currently work as GAA S&C coach with the Tullamore senior footballers in Offaly and St Oliver Plunkett’s Eoghan Ruadh minor footballers and hurlers in Dublin.
I’ve won three Offaly SFC titles with my home club Tullamore and I’ve also played football in Sydney, Chicago, New York and Glasgow.
I started my journey into S&C coaching out of a personal need to enhance my own performance on the pitch.
For years, I struggled to find the right approach in the gym that would translate to better athleticism on the field.
As I learned and applied the correct methods to become leaner, faster and more powerful, I realised how much misinformation and lack of tailored guidance exists for GAA players striving to become better athletes.
Today, my coaching philosophy is built on a foundation of making athletes leaner and more explosive through meticulously designed speed, power, strength and conditioning training programmes that I’ve refined over the years.
THE BODYWEIGHT TRANSFORMATION SYSTEM IS A SHORTCUT
Before I discovered the power of bodyweight basics that I’m about to reveal in this course, I was an average guy who tried to become strong and healthy, but conventional fitness and weightlifting left me without progress and the lack of whole-body strength even caused me shoulder pain.
I felt stuck, and at the same time, I was seeing these BIG and SHREDDED guys on social media living cool lives…
So I spent the next 6 years obsessively gathering knowledge about {{how to put on lean muscle as fast as possible}} from top natural athletes. I got two coach certifications and even learned from a world champion street workout coach.
I used this knowledge to create a training system that helped me go from weak and unconfident to strong and shredded fast.
